A support for video cameras and the like including three elongated members fabricated from substantially rigid but slightly resiliently deformable material, which elongated members are pivotally joined at their extremities in the form of a frame which, when deformed into a plane, is substantially triangular. Two of the elongated members are configured to pass over the respective shoulders of a human user and are joined at a common end by a friction-loaded pivot. The opposite ends of these contoured elongated members are pivotally joined to the opposite ends of a third, substantially straight elongated member which is disposed in close juxtaposition to the user's chest when the camera support is disposed over the user's shoulders.
