AUTOMATIC PHASE REGULATING SYSTEM USING DIRECT COMPARATIVE METHOD

A phase control system is for regularly reading the image signal on the video tape by controlling the phase of the drum and the capstan motor. The pulse signal generated in the drum motor is directly comparated with the phase control signal recorded on the video tape. The system comprises a phase control signal divider (1) for dividing the phase control signal of the video tape and for producing the comparation signal, a capstan motor phase controller (2), a switching signal producer (3) for producing the signal to switch the video head, and a drum motor phase controller (4).
