PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition containing a thermoplastic resin, flame retardant, foaming agent, crosslinking agent and reactive compound at specific ratios and capable of providing a foam having excellent flame resistance, flexibility, heat resistance, mechanical characteristics, electric characteristics, heat insulating properties, soundproofing properties, etc. CONSTITUTION:The aimed composition consisting of (A) 100 pts. wt. thermoplastic resin (preferably polyolefin), (B) 5-200 pts.wt., preferably 10-150 pts. wt. flame-retardant (e.g. tetrabromdbisphenol A or tricredyl phosphate, preferably pollution-free flame retardant having low smoking property), (C) 0.1-15 pts.wt., preferably 1.0-10 pts. wt. foaming agent (e.g. ammonium carbonate or 2,2'-azobisisobutylonitrile), (D) <=5 pts.wt., preferably 0.05-5 pts.wt. crosslinking agent (e.g. sulfur) and (F) 1-30 pts. wt., preferably 3-25 pts. wt. reactive compound (e.g. alkenyl cyclic imino ether derivative). |
