<p>PURPOSE:To reduce replenishing labor by reducing the number of times of the replenishment of a binding needle by controlling the operation of a plurality of binding units so that the residual amounts of the binding needles of the respective binding units become almost equal. CONSTITUTION:An image forming unit 1 forms an image on transfer papers 2 to discharge the transfer papers to a main body copy tray 30 or to send the same to the belt 32 of a finisher 31. A micro-CPU counts the residual amounts of the binding needles of binding units 3, 4 and selects the binding unit having more residual binding needles among the binding units 3, 4 from the count result of the residual amounts of the respective binding needles when both of the binding units 3, 4 can move to the binding position set by an operational display unit 5. The micro-CPU controls the operation of the binding units 3, 4 so as to bind the transfer papers 2 by the binding units.</p> |
