PURPOSE:To obtain the profiles of a side wall surfaces by correcting the measured distance values to both side walls of a carbonizing chamber detected with distance sensors provided in the pushing ram or the ram beam of coke pushing machine in correspondence with the longitudinal deflection of the ram beam. CONSTITUTION:An oven width lw of a carbonizing chamber 1 is found by the expression I based on distances l1 and l2 from distance sensors 13A and 13B to the side wall surfaces. The deflection delta between an axial line CL of a ram beam 12 and a measuring center Q of the sensors is obtained by the expression II by using the distances between parallelism sensors 15A and 15B of the pushing machine and reflection reference plates 20A and 20B which are in parallel with the outer walls of an oven 10 and the distance between a running direction and position sensor 16 of the pushing machine and the reflection reference plate 20A. The attaching position of a position sensor 14B is also used as a reference. The profiles y1 and y2 of the side wall surfaces are obtained by the expressions III and IV by using the deflection amount delta. In this constitution, the oven width of the carbonizing chamber and the profiles of the oven side walls can be independently measured. Therefore, the accurate data in the oven are obtained, and the adequate repair can be performed. The life of the oven body can be elongated, and the repairing costs can be reduced. |
