CONSTITUTION:When a terminal A sends an electronic mail for a terminal B to a server computer, a server 5 decodes a destination belonging to the mail and writes the mail in a mail box MB2. The server 5 reads out transfer information TI2 in the mail box MB2 and decides whether the destination to be transferred is specified or not. Since a terminal C is specified as the destination to be transferred, the server 5 reads out the mail once written in the mail box MB2 and then writes the read mail in the mail box MB3 of the terminal C. When the terminal C accesses the server 5, the server 5 informs the information indicating the arrival of the electronic mail at the terminal C to the terminal C.
