The decanter centrifuge has a casing (1), a drum (2) and a feed screw (5). Conical bodies (10, 11) are installed concentrically around the conical part of the drum (2). They reduce the residual water content of solid matter with a highly dispersed solid phase. An outer body (10) is rigidly joined to the drum (2); an inner body (11) is mounted on the feed-screw drum (4). Endless removal screws (12, 13) are fixed to the outer faces of the drum (2) and of the inner body (11) for transporting the solid matter. <IMAGE>
