<p>PURPOSE:To suppress the effect of the pulsation of an engine when a flowmeter is mounted on an actual vehicle and to improve the performance of the actual vehicle by providing a buildup part on a body at the outlet part of a bypass air path so that the buildup part and the central axis of a main air path are in parallel. CONSTITUTION:This air flowmeter is constituted of a body 1 made of aluminum diecast and a module 2. Air sucked into a body 1 is divided into a main air path 5 and a bypass air path 6 provided in the main air path 5 and flows through the paths. The bypass air path 6 passes in a flow-rate measuring part 7 which is provided so as to cross the main air path 5 and joins the main air path 5 through an outlet port 11 of the bypass air path. The downstream side of the bypass air path 6 provided in the flow-rate measuring part 7 is covered with a path cover 8. Meanwhile, a hot wire 3 and a heat sensitive resistor 4 are arranged in the bypass air path 6. A buildup part 9 is provided at a part of the body 1 at the outlet port 11 of the bypass air path. The surface of the buildup part 9 is machined so that the surface of the buildup part 9 and the central axis of the main air path 5 are in parallel.</p> |
