PURPOSE:To obtain a disposable type inexpensive biosensor integrally formed with a sampling part and detection part by filling a pipe-like container with water absorbing high molecules, arranging at least two electrodes, a working electrode and its paired electrode, in the container and using the working electrode as an enzyme electrode or a microorganism electrode. CONSTITUTION:The inside of the insulating plastic-made pipe-like container is filled with water absorbing high molecules. Enzyme 5 such as glucose oxidase is dispersed into the high molecules 4. The disposable type biosensor is fixed to a measuring body and a a needle-like sampling port 7 is thrusted into the sample to such a solution component into the biosensor. Glucose in the solution is resolved by glucose oxidase in the biosensor. Hidrogen peroxide formed by the enzyme reaction is measured as the quantity of glucose by impressing a pulse voltage to the electrodes and detecting an oxidation current. |
