METHOD AND DEVICE FOR AUTOMATIC REARRANGEMENT SUBSTRATE SUPPORT STAGE

PURPOSE:To remarkably shorten required time for stage rearrangement and improve the operation rate of a mounting device by automatizing the taking out and putting in operations of support pins and changing the arrangement of all the support pins at the shortest distances. CONSTITUTION:Support pins 1 are held and arrangement change of the support pins 1 is automatically performed by an opening chuck 6. The chuck 6 is positioned by using a head 7 and an XY table 8, which are necessary for an electronic component mounting device 9. Since the taking out and putting in operations of the support pins 1 are automatized and that the taken out support pins 1 are put in the prescribed positions without being remounted, all the support pins are changed at the shortest distances, required time for stage rearrangement is remarkably shortened and the operation rate of a mounting device is improved.
