<p>PURPOSE:To provide an emergency stop mechanism of a simple structure on a bed having a floor part folding mechanism so that it can be used safely by providing an infrared-ray switch for detecting infrared rays radiated from the human body on the lower part of the floor part, and executing a stop of a driving source, based on a detecting signal of this infrared-ray switch. CONSTITUTION:As for a floor part folding mechanism 4, a motor is operated by a command of a driving control part and a screw shaft rotates, and a female screw moves on a screw shaft, by which an operating link 9 is turned, and said floor part 3 is folded. Also, on a foot board 10 attached to the end part of a bed frame 2, an infrared-ray switch 11 for detecting infrared rays radiated from the human body is provided, and based on a detecting signal of this infrared-ray switch 11, a stop command is outputted to the driving control part of the floor part folding mechanism 4, and a stop of the motor 5 is executed. Accordingly, in the case a child creeps in between the floor part 3 and the bed frame 2, infrared rays radiated from the child is sensed, and the floor part folding mechanism interrupts its descending action, therefore, it is safe.</p> |
