The invention relates to an assembly of a vehicle seat which includes a seat cushion part, a seat backrest part, a device for sliding the seat, having a stationary rail and movable rail which hold the seat cushion part and which is in sliding engagement with the stationary rail. According to the invention, a base plate (34) has one end connected pivotably to the movable rail, a pivoting arm (36) is connected pivotably to the base plate and is fixed to the seat backrest part, a catch (dog) (44) is connected to the movable rail in order to move with it, an engagement member (40) is connected pivotably to the base plate, so that it can come into engagement with the catch, and an anchoring point (46) for a seatbelt is fixed to the catch.
