The invention relates to a very compact easy-to-clean folding draining rack which when unfolded is fully flat for cleaning and storage. It consists of two base pieces (1) to which there are hinged at (5) some fifteen flat ribs (2) which the user raises and locks in their use position by folding in the side flaps (3 and 4) which hinge at (6) on the pieces (1). The comb-like outermost flaps (4) have notches (8) into which the ends of the ribs (2) fit. The studs (9) situated on the teeth (9) catch on the narrow edge of the underside (14) of each of the ribs (2) to prevent the draining rack from unfolding by itself.
