PURPOSE:To simplify optical wiring and to allow low-loss optical connection by disposing wiring guides in a board, inserting and fixing optical fibers therein and optically coupling optical elements or optical parts to be wired by these optical fibers. CONSTITUTION:The wiring guides 2a to 2c which can hold the optical fibers 3a, 3b consisting of coated optical fibers or bare optical fibers in the board 1 and face the optical elements or optical parts to be connected at both ends thereof are disposed in the board 1. The optical fibers 3a, 3b are inserted and fixed into these wiring guides 2a to 2c. These optical fibers are optically coupled to the optical elements or optical parts to be wired. The formation of the wirings in compliance with the shapes of desired lines is possible in this way and the high accuracy of the sizes and positions of the wiring guides is obtd. The execution of the optical connection with the extremely low loss is possible. |
