PURPOSE:To convey train passengers so efficiently in reducing a waiting time at the time of changing the train by limiting a service floor of an elevator cage to a connection floor with the railway before train arrival through train arrival hour information, making it arrive thereat and be on standby, and increasing the number of cages being subjected to standing by through congestion degree information of the train concerned. CONSTITUTION:An elevator 1 has a reference floor 3, and it is connected to a railway 2 through a connection floor 4. A group control system 6 controlling the drive of plural units of elevator cages 5 and an operation control unit 8 controlling operation of each train 7 are connected by a data communication line 9, whereby train arrival hour information and train destination information are transmitted at all times. The group control system 6 calculates the number of cage units required for the conveyance of transfer passengers from the train according to an expected connection degree of the train when it becomes before the specified time of train arrival, and it selects some cages as manu as a portion for these unit numbers, stopping them once at the reference floor, and as for the cage concerned, all calls from the elevator hall side are canceled, thereby driving it straight up to the connection floor, and it is reached to the connection floor before the train arrives. |
