PURPOSE:To join a space forming material and a sealing material together excellently by incorporating two kinds of components of ceramic powder and crystallized glass in the space forming material and sealing material. CONSTITUTION:The space forming material 10 forms a space part 10A which complements the weakness of the strength of the sealing material 4 and generates a limit current to the oxygen sensor effectively and a mixture of crystallized glass and steatite with a 1:4 weight ratio is used. Further, the sealing material 11 in use is prepared by mixing crystallized glass and steatite at a 100:3 weight ratio. Thus, the two kinds of common components which are the ceramic powder and crystallized glass are incorporated in the space forming material 10 and sealing material 11 to improve the wettability between the space forming material 10 and sealing material 11; and then while a pinhole is prevented from being formed in the sealing material 11, the thickness of the sealing material 11 is reducible to about 40 mum. |
