An arrangement for measuring wall thicknesses, esp. for pipes, cable mantles etc., made of extruded plastic, includes a measuring head connected to measurement and supply lines, which is attached to a frame with a guide opening for the pipe. The measurement and supply lines are divided into two guide chains. The guide paths are formed on the inner and outer mantle surfaces of a circular ring section core member. The chain ends are coupled to the head.
