1-Substd. phenoxy 3-(4-phenyl-1-piperazinyl) 2-propanol derivs. of formula (I) and their tautomeric forms, and their salts, acid additions and N-oxides are new (R1 = H or 1-4C alkyl; R2, R3 = H, halogen, CN, CF3, NO2, OH, 1-4C alkyl or 1-4C alkoxy). 4 Cpds. are specifically claimed including 1-(4-(3-cyano-1,2 -dihydro-6-methyl-2- oxo-5-pyridyl)phenoxy) 3-(4-(2-methoxyphenyl) 1-piperazinyl)- 2-propanol and 1-(4-(3-cyano-1,2-dihydro-6-methyl-2 -oxo-5-pyridyl)phenoxy) 3-3(4-phenyl-1 piperazinyl)-2-propanol.
