Ground emission protection system - is used in excavation of contaminated ground areas and uses bulkheads to separate such areas

Over a contaminated area a canopy (1) is erected, in front of which bulkheads (2,3) are fitted. Over the entire length of the bulkheads an even distance is maintained between them. The contaminated area is enclosed between the bulkheads, and it is possible to erect cross walls (4) between them. The bulkheads form the access path to the canopy, and on them covers are fitted with intervening distance pieces, and suspension devices. Each bulkhead has sections which vary in height, and sealing fillets are fitted between them and the canopy. The canopy comprises stirrups, and a console with an access path. USE - To accommodate decontamination plant at sites where contaminated ground has been excavated.
