<p>The invention relates to an image projector providing homogeneous lighting of an object to be projected while increasing the light collection efficiency. The projector (1) is comprised of a light source (6) producing a light intended to illuminate an object (2) having a given shape. According to the invention, the projector (1) is further comprised of a housing (7), wherein the light is subjected to multiple diffusions before emerging through an outlet window (9) to illuminate the object (2), and, additionally the shape of the outlet opening (9) is the same as that of the object to be projected. The invention is applicable particularly to television projectors using a liquid crystal screen.</p> |
