<p>The prepainting cleaning of molded resin articles, particularly those made from resins containing an internal mold release agent and molded with the use of an external mold release agent, is improved by first cleaning in an aqueous alkaline solution containing an alkaline builder and surfactants, rinsing with water, and then cleaning in an aqueous acidic cleaner, preferably including surfactant and/or organic solvent.</p> |
