PURPOSE:To reduce undershoot by closing operating a fuel control valve at the higher speed midway to the necessary fuel feed quantity value with low load and then closing-operating the fuel control valve at the lower speed, when the fuel feed quantity is allowed to correspond to the necessary fuel feed quantity value with a low load, in the sharp reduction of load. CONSTITUTION:The aimed opening degree instruction of a fuel control valve 12 is set by a calculator 4 according to the difference between the revolution speed signal of a gas turbine 8 which is detected by a detecting means 7 and the aimed revolution speed signal obtained by a calculator 2. Then, the min. value of the aimed opening degree signal of the fuel control valve 12 is set by a limiter calculator according to the revolution speed of the gas turbine 8 and the atmosphere temperature, and the correction value for the minimum value is set by a correction calculator 10. The correction value is set during the operation up to the time when the number of revolution exceeds the maximum value, and the control valve 12 is closing-operated at the higher speed midway to the necessary fuel feeding value with low load, and the closing operation is carried out at the speed lower than the above-described speed.
