<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a head from clogging with the beginning and end parts of a magnetic tape and to eject the tape in the case of abnormality by detecting a rotating amt. of a reel motor for a 1st reel on the side of drawing out the magnetic tape at the tape loading time and deciding the state of the magnetic tape. CONSTITUTION:When a tape loading command is issued, guide members 19 and 20 are moved by a control signal of a microcomputer 14 from a tape unloading completion position 21a toward a tape loading completion position 21b as shown by an alternate long and two short dashes line, and the magnetic tape 1 is drawn out of a supply reel 2. In this case, a take-up reel 3 is fixed not to be rotated. A rotating amt. of the supply reel 2 is detected by a reel motor rotation sensor 6 and a rotation detector 8, and this detected rotation information (n) is sent to the microcomputer 14, where it is compared with a min. rotating amt. (n0) of the supply reel 2 at the normal tape loading time, and if (n) < (n0), abnormality is decided, and a tape cassette 25 is ejected out.</p> |
