PURPOSE: To connect a scaffold pipe excellently by adapting an end section on the scaffold-member side to a scaffold member and imparting a combination range having a shape proper to welding while forming a centering tongue piece, and abutting annular surface and a conical surface. CONSTITUTION: The end section of the connecting head 25 on the scaffold- member side is adapted to a scaffold member, and formed so as to have a combination range 30 having a shape proper to welding. A centering tongue piece 60 penetrated to the scaffold member constituted as a scaffold pipe 21 and adapted to the scaffold pipe 21 is formed in the combination range 30. An abutting annular surface 51 having an outside diameter smaller than the outside diameter of the scaffold pipe 21 is formed, and a forward extended conical surface 55 is formed in succession to the annular surface. Accordingly, the connecting head 25 is centered and positioned excellently to the scaffold pipe 21 while favorable automatic welding conditions can be obtained. |
