Laterally to the cylindrical main hole are two adjacent holes which overlap the main hole in circular segment sections, and accommodate running spindles. These spindles overlap the drive spindle in engagement with it in the circular segment sections. The running housing is formed in two halves (11,12) in the common symmetry plane (18) of the main hole (13) and the two adjacent holes (14,15). Recesses (16,16') for the formation of the main hole (13) and the adjacent holes (14,15) are produced by profile milling or profile grinding in an external machining process of the symmetry plane (18) of the housing halves (11,12). The holes in the housing halves are provided with a wear layer in the form of plasma injection or by ceramic coating. USE - To produce a running housing for a screw spindle pump.
