The invention relates to a papillomavirus probe derived from DNA-HPV66 deposited at CNCM on may 10th 1990 under the deposit number I-951. Said probe is usable for in vitro detection, by hybridation with DNAs contained in a human biological sample, of genital neoplasia or cancers of the cervix uteri.
