The arrangement to ensure a rigid and tight screw connection incorporates a normally threaded bolt and special nut having an added deformable cross-section. The latter is represented by annular edging on a thin walled bush at the free end of the nut. The thread of the nut extends through the bush and annular edging, whilst the end of the bolt protrudes through the latter. Component having cone-shaped bore is pressed in axial direction onto annular edging causing same to radially deform into the thread of the bolt.
