<p>PURPOSE:To reduce ethylene gas concentration in a storage chamber and to delay the varying speed of gas composition by providing a gas absorbing member for absorbing ethylene gas in the chamber so that it is exposed at one surface to the chamber and at the other surface to a chilled gas circulating space. CONSTITUTION:In order to expose one surface of a gas absorbing member 20 to a storage chamber and the other surface to a chilled gas circulating space 11, one surface (the surface of a storage chamber side) of a holder 22 for holding the member 20 in an inner box 3 is opened, and many holes 25 are formed at the other surface (the surface of the chilled gas circulating space side). Since ethylene gas generated by respiration of agricultural product is gradually absorbed by the member 20 and partly exposed to the space 11 through the holes 25, it is gradually discharged into the space 11 to suppress an abrupt increase in ethylene gas concentration, thereby delaying a speed for varying gas composition in a storage chamber 10.</p> |
