PURPOSE:To improve operability with a reduction in time required for changing an ultrasonic probe by providing a memory means to store a delay data computed by an arithmetic means, a control means to read the delay data out of the memory means corresponding to an ultrasonic probe selected when the ultrasonic probe is switched. CONSTITUTION:Where a power source is closed to a mainframe, identification information is inputted into an arithmetic means 10 from ultrasonic probes 1A-1C and the arithmetic means computes a delay data for all the ultrasonic probes 1A-1C connected to the mainframe. Then, the delay data are stored into a memory means 11. When the ultrasonic probes 1A-1C are switched, the delay data corresponding to the ultrasonic probes 1A-1C selected are read immediately out of the memory means 11 by a control means 15. This enables the reducing of time required for the switching of the ultrasonic probes 1A-1C, thereby relieving an operator of a working burden. |
