PURPOSE:To reduce a developer without exerting adverse influence on an image formation and to miniaturize and simplify this device by tentatively carrying and returning a waste developer in a removing/housing means to a replenished developer housing means by means of a developer carrying means. CONSTITUTION:Toner remaining on a photosensitive body 202 and scratched off by a blade 232 is stagnated on the bottom part of a case 230 by the rotation of a roller 233. A magnet 234 is provided on the bottom part of the case to magnetically attract magnetic carrier grains in the toner having a fear for clogging the shutter of a toner replenishing port. The residual toner in the case 230 is returned to the replenished developer housing means 226 by the developer carrying means 2, drops on the case 224 as a part of a replenished developer to be reused. When the toner is pulverized to obtain a small grain diameter during carrying, the base fogging of an image is increased, so that the edge of the crest of the blade of a means 2 is made round and hitting to the toner is leased. |
