PREPARATION OF POLYAMIDE SHEET

PURPOSE:To solve a surface waviness phenomenon at both end parts of a molten sheet and to manufacture stably a sheet wherein both end parts are linear and has a uniform thickness in the width direction by heating both end parts of the molten sheet between an exit of a die and a tightly adhering line of the sheet on a cooled rotating drum. CONSTITUTION:A heating apparatus 5 heating both end parts of a molten sheet 3 between an exit of a die 1 and a tightly adhering line l of a sheet on a cooled rotating drum 2 is provided. A non-contacting type heating device is generally used and a radiation heating device which does not give wind pressure and vibration to the molten sheet 3 is especially pref. The sheet is passed through a release roll 6 and is wound up as a solidified sheet 7 and is made into a draw film with a specified thickness and dimensional stability etc., are provided to the drawn film in a heat treatment process. As both end parts of the molten sheet are thus heated between the exit of the die and the tightly adhering line of the sheet on the cooled rotating drum, no spherulite occurs and a surface waviness phenomenon of a nylon sheet can be solved.
