<p>A method for preparing stable bitumen-polymer mixtures is described, consisting of maintaining the mixture components in mutual contact at a temperature from about 200 DEG C to about 250 DEG C for a time of between 15 hours and 45 minutes. After such treatment the bitumen-polymer mixture is stabilized and, under fluidity conditions such as those which occur for example during hot storage, no separation of the system into two phases is observed even after long time periods.</p> |
