<p>A horizontal sweep circuit for a cathode ray tube device includes a flyback transformer (12), a horizontal width coil (14), and a horizontal linearity coil (16). The horizontal width coil (14) is mounted with its axis parallel to the axis of the flyback transformer (12), and has a polarity such that the flux thereof partially cancels the flyback transformer flux. The linearity coil (16) is reverse connected to lower its inductance and is also mounted so that its flux partially cancels the flyback transformer flux. A conductive shield (42) is disposed over the flyback transfer (12). With this arrangement, a relatively low level of magnetic flux is emitted by the horizontal sweep circuit. <IMAGE></p> |
