发明名称 DEFORMED CHARACTER PATTERN GENERATION PROCESSING METHOD
摘要 PURPOSE:To generate deformed character patterns wherein actual handwriting deformation tendencies are simulated in detail efficiently in quantities by performing a clustering process for the position shifts of strokes of a handwritten character pattern. CONSTITUTION:In a process 11, extracted strokes are approximated with straight lines, whose position coordinates are measured and stored. In a process 12, other handwritten characters are inputted when present, and the process 11 is repeated. In a process 13, the stored position coordinates of the strokes of the respective patterns are clustered as multidimensional vectors. In a process 14, mean vectors of the obtained clusters are calculated. Then a process 15 generates vectors at the periphery of a straight line up to the mean vector of each cluster. In a process 16, a character deformation quantity is calculated from the distances from a reference point to the generated vectors. A process 17 converts element values of the generated vectors as position coordinates of the strokes into a pattern.
