PURPOSE:To improve the assembling performance when an internal unit of an optical submarine repeater is assembled by providing a fiber accommodation section to both sides of a system unit so as to improve the handling performance of the system unit and to combine plural system units. CONSTITUTION:An incoming circuit unit fiber accommodation section 76 is arranged to an end face of an incoming circuit unit 34 opposite to the coupling side and an outgoing circuit unit fiber accommodation section 76' is arranged to an end face of an outgoing circuit unit 36 opposite to the coupling side. Since the fiber accommodation sections 76, 76' are arranged to both sides of the system unit in this way, the assembly is finished by using only the incoming circuit unit 34 or the outgoing circuit unit 36. The finished incoming circuit unit 34 and outgoing circuit unit 36 are combined integrally by using a link member to easily assemble the system unit. Thus, the fiber is not protruded from the system unit, then the handling performance of the fiber and the assembling performance when plural system units are assembled are considerably improved. |
