<p>PURPOSE:To improve the availability of a battery by controlling the ON/OFF of a switch circuit after deciding via power control CPU whether the battery voltage drops less than a prescribed low level or not due to the voltage drop caused when the power is supplied to an external equipment via a switch circuit. CONSTITUTION:A power control CPU 6 receives a battery voltage level from an A/D converter 5 and the load data from an external equipment in response to the load level and the decides whether or not the battery voltage is set at a prescribed level, i.e., a low battery level due to the voltage drop caused when the power is supplied to the external equipment via the switch circuits 8 and 9 based on the data on the voltage drop corresponding to the load data stored previously. Then the CPU 6 controls the ON/OFF of both circuits 8 and 9. Thus it is possible to prevent a system down owing to the sudden voltage drop caused with supply of the power to the external equipment and also to set the battery voltage at a low level. As a result, the availability of the battery is improved.</p> |
