<p>Apparatus is provided for mounting a device such as an electric motor (22) on a support member such as a printer housing (20). Four molded elements on the support member coact with a flange (24) on the device to provide the mounting. These elements include first and second retaining brackets (32,34), a stop member (38) and a resilient latch member (46). To secure the device to the support member, the flange (24) is pressed against the latch member, depressing it. The device and flange (24) are then rotated to engage the flange (24) with the retaining brackets (32,34) and to position one edge of the flange (24) against the stop member (38). After rotation, the flange (24) no longer depresses the latch member (46), which snaps outwardly so that an end surface of the latch member (46) engages an edge of the flange (24), securing the flange (24) and device in position on the support member (20). <IMAGE></p> |
