The invention concerns a device for folding sheets for a folding-gluing machine for making packages. A sheet (1) is displaced by a conveyor belt (4) in a direction parallel to a folding line (01) previously predetermined by upsetting. A second belt (6) put into a helical shape by the action of rollers with a truncated-cone section (7) pushes against the part or flap (1') to be folded and folds it down in the direction of the rest of the sheet (1). In order to be able to vary the helix of the belt (6), the rollers with a truncated- cone section (7), whose angle varies from roller to roller, are mounted such that their position can be adjusted on supports (7a, 20, 15, 30a) which can pivot about the folding line (01). <IMAGE> |
