<p>A silver halide photographic light sensitive material which comprises a compound of formula I: <CHEM> wherein Cp is a coupler residual group from which a hydrogen atom present in an active site has been removed; L is a linking group; n is 0 or 1; each of R<1>, R<2> and R<3>, which may be identical or different, is a hydrogen atom or a substituent; W is an aromatic group containing a 5- or 6-membered ring or a heterocyclic aromatic group; j is an integer of from 0 to 4; PUG is a photographically useful group; 1 is 0 or 1; m and k, which may be identical or different, are each 0, 1, 2, 3 or 4 provided that 1 + m + k is not more than 4; X is a divalent coupling group; and Y is a substituent substituted on the benzene ring through a hetero atom.</p> |
