LIQUID PROPELLANT GUN In a regenerative liquid propellant gun there is provided a passageway extending from a dispensing reservoir through the gun barrel to an opening into the bore of the gun at a location within the extent of that portion of the projectile to be fired which is in contact with the bore surface when the projectile is in its ready for firing position whereby the projectile acts as a valve to initially block flow of liquid propellant from the passageway into the bore and to subsequently permit such flow when the projectile moves down the barrel of the gun beyond said opening. |
