PURPOSE:To enhance deodorizing property to a large extent, in preparing a deodorizing polyvinyl chloride sheet material from a polyvinyl chloride paste resin, by containing a specific deodorizing component. CONSTITUTION:The deodorizing component contained in a polyvinyl chloride (hereinbelow referred to as PVC) paste resin is org. polycarboxylic acid and, for example, there are aliphatic polycarboxylic acid such as oxalic acid or citric acid and aromatic polycarboxylic acid such as phthalic acid or trimellitic acid. The use amount of all of these components is 0.1-20wt% of the PVC paste resin. This paste resin is applied to the surface of a sheet base material such as paper, fabric or a metal and gelled under heating. The surface of the obtained deodorizing PVC sheet material is subjected to emboss processing or printing processing to obtain a desired product which is, in turn, used as wall paper, a floor material or an interior material of a toilet or a car. |
