PURPOSE: To increase the number of analyzing times by providing a single photoconductor for bringing the light emitted from an optical converter into coincidence with the direction of the lower end of the tube to branch the light reflected by the surface of sample liquid toward an photoelectric photoreceiver, thereby shortening the time required for pouring operation. CONSTITUTION: The suction tube 10 has a sensor such as photoelectric photoreceiver for sensing the considerable length dipped in sample liquid in a sample container 16 at the upper end 36 of the tube 10 to dip in the specified short length in the liquid in the container 16. A photoconductor made of an optical fiber 32 is placed on a photoconductor 33 at a shorter distance from the lower end 34 of the tube 10 from the optical converter. The converter is placed separately at the specified distance opposed to the upper end from the upper end of the photoconductor 32. An optical coupler 38 is formed of a translucent mirror, disposed between the converter and the photoconductor, and installed obliquely at 45 deg. to the axis of the photoconductor 32. |
