摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition improved in optical properties such as refractive index, double refraction and dispersion and mechanical properties such as light resistance and strengths by using a (co)polymer of a specified monomer with optionally a monomer copolymerizable therewith. CONSTITUTION:A nitrile of formula I (wherein R<1> and R<2> are each H, alkyl or halogen), a thiol of formula II and HCI are mixed together in such amounts that the nitrile is 20-150eq.% based on the thiol, and reacted to form an imide acid thiol ester hydrochloride. The hydrochloride is converted into a dithiocarboxylic acid ester by the substitution reaction with H2S to obtain a monomer of formula III (wherein R<3> is a residue derived by removing the SH group from an SH-containing compound; and n is a positive integer). The monomer is (co)polymerized with 0-200mol% another monomer copolymerizable therewith at 0-250 deg.C for 0.5-90hr in the presence of a polymerization initiator to obtain a (co)polymer. The (co)polymer is optionally mixed with 20wt.% or below urethane resin, plasticizer, UV absorber, antioxidant, coating material, dye or the like.
