PURPOSE:To make it possible to use this analyzer actually as a monitor for river water quality in an unmanned observing station by checking whether the water in a regulating tank wherein sample water is temporarily stored is at a level to be sampled or not with a level switch. CONSTITUTION:Whether a pump for sampling water from a river is normally operated or not, i.e. the water in a regulating tank 2 for temporarily storing the sample water is at a sampling level or not, is checked with a level switch 3. When the water can be sampled, the test water is supplied into biosensor 11, and the ordinary measurement is performed. On the contrary, when the water level in the regulating tank 2 is lowered and the water cannot be sampled, the water sampling from the regulating tank 2 is stopped. The solution in a circulating solution tank 18 containing a suitable amount of a material useful for organism function material is circulated through the biosensor 11. When the water level of the regulating tank 2 is restored and the water can be sampled, the ordinary measurement is resumed. In this way, the solution in the tank is circulated through the biosensor 11, and the organism function material is not dried. |
