<p>PURPOSE:To absorb the movement of an aerial cable holding point so as to reduce the tensional burden of an aerial cable against a change in environmental condition by installing an elastic body which can expand and contract only in the horizontal direction in the cable installing direction to a supporting post and allowing the cable holding point to move in accordance with the variation of the cable tension. CONSTITUTION:An elastic body 2 which can expand and contract only in the horizontal direction in the installing direction of an aerial cable 1 is installed to a supporting post 4 of utility pole, etc. The aerial cable 1 is held at a certain point in the front end or intermediate section of the elastic body 2 so that the cable holding point 3 can move in accordance with the variation of the cable tension. Moreover, the cable 1 is stretched so that the section 1a of the cable 1 on the supporting post 4 side from the holding point 3, namely, the section 1a of the cable 1 between the holding points 3 on both sides of the post 4 can be sufficiently slackened and the movement of the cable holding points 3 caused by the variation of the cable tension can be absorbed by the section 1a.</p> |
