PURPOSE:To impart highly electrostatic attraction properties to the title film by melting a polyester composition including a phyllosilicate compound and a soluble metallic compound, extruding the same into the form of a film and subsequently allowing it to be electrostatically attracted to a revolving cooling roll to be quenched and hardened. CONSTITUTION:A phyllosilicate compound, which is added to polyester in 0.005-5wt.% amount to the amount of said polyester, is a compound showing a layer structure due to a repeated unit based on the tetrahedral crystalline material of SiO4 among clay minerals being silicates of aluminum, magnesium or iron. It is preferable that such a compound has an expandable lattice but shows limitless expansion, and examples thereof include montmorillonite, hectorite, saponite, etc. Further, a compound soluble to a reaction system such as an Mg compound, a Ca compound, an Mn compound and a Zn compound is used and added to polyester in 0.0005-0.2wt.% amount to the amount of polyester at a metal conversion ratio. The polyester composition thus prepared is melted and extruded, and the resultant film is electrostatically attracted to the surface of a cooling roll to be quenched and hardened. By this method, highly electrostatic attraction properties are imparted to the film. |
