<p>NEW MATERIAL:A compound expressed by formula I (R<1> is alkyl, aryl, amino or halogen; R<2> is alkyl, azide, cyano, amino or halogen; B is pyrimidine or purine base). EXAMPLE:1-(3-Azide-2,3-dideoxy-2-C-methyl-D-erythro-pentofuranosyl)thy mine. USE:An antiviral agent. PREPARATION:A 1-thioglycoside derivative expressed by formula II (R<3> is alkyl or aryl; P is protecting group) is subjected to coupling with pyrimidine and purine base in the presence of an activating agent(preferably N- bromocinnamic acid imide) to afford a compound expressed by formula III and then a protecting group of hydroxyl group at 5 position of the resultant compound is deprotected.</p> |
