PURPOSE:To eliminate dropout of signals on the same channel at reproduction, by changing the recording location of audio signals of each channel at each track. CONSTITUTION:Four-channel audio signals A1-A4 are changed at each inclined magnetic track T1, T2... cyclicly. Since the dropout of the audio signals on the same channel is not caused over a number of magnetic tracks at the reproduction, the audio signals of a specific channel having partial missing are compensated by the device of the circuitry. Even if a flaw takes place in the lengthwise direction of a magnetic tape, the dropout of the audio signals on the same channel at the reproduction is avoided. |
