PURPOSE:To obtain a press fit pin with high reliability for electrical connection and good stacking workability for printed boards when applied to a device stacked with many printed boards by forming the first fit section pressed into a through hole, the second fit section pressed in the through hole of the first sub-printed board, and a shoulder between the first fit section and the second fit section. CONSTITUTION:A press fit pin 20 has the second fit section 24 pressed into the through hole 15A of the first sub-printed board 15 via a shoulder 23 on the opposite side to the first fit section 22 pressed into the through hole 2A of a back board printed board 2. When the tip section of the first fit section 22 is inserted into the insertion hole of a housing 4, the housing 4 is fitted to the back board printed board 2. The through hole 15A is inserted into the contact 25 of the corresponding press fit pin 20, and the first sub-printed board 15 is pressed toward the back board printed board 2. The second fit section 24 and the through hole 15A are electrically connected, and the first sub-printed board 15A is mechanically fixed to the press fit pin 20. |
