摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To improve the separating efficiency of fine oil mist and to reduce the size of an oil separator by a method wherein an electric dust collecting device is disposed in a refrigerant gas passage running between the outlet side of an oil separating means and an refrigerant gas outflow port. CONSTITUTION:Delivery gas delivered in a separator body 3 through a refrigerant gas inflow port 4 flows to a refrigerant gas outflow 6 through an eliminator 8, an electric precipitator 9, and a delivery pipe 5. In this case, relatively large oil drops contained in delivery gas can be separated by the eliminator 8 through collision separation due to collision of the oil drops with a wire mesh 81. Further, an oil content passing in a state that it is not separated by the eliminator 8 produces misty fine particles, which flow in the electric precipitator 9. Therefore, the fine oil mist can be also effectively separated from refrigerant gas by means of the dust precipitator 9. That is, separating efficiency can be improved by the eliminator 8 through the cooperation action of the electric precipitator 9 to high-efficiently separate fine particles through electrophoresis. Thus, the size of an oil separator can be reduced.</p>
